Position Tittle: Field Investigator Intern- Paid Position 1
To learn the profession of private investigations by following direction, learning the resourcefulness needed to succeed in completing assignments, learn to prepare reports, learn how to conduct surveillance, and to learn to locate individuals by retrieving any and all information necessary to accomplish this task. To be ethical and honest and provide a quality work product to our clients within the guidelines of the law and policies and procedures set forth by Midknight's Private Investigations, LLC.
Key Taks and Responsibilities:
- submit to weekly reviews of work turned in by intern for training purposes
- must be able to execute the directions of each assignment accurately
- must perform any and all preliminary work/presurveillance work in order to conduct the investigation efficiently
- secure and label properly all evidence and deliver to office when necessary
- read and discern comprehensive reports
- to be equipped and ready with photographic equipment to document any accident scene, vehicle, vessel, subject, or residence
Skills and Attributes and Requirements
- ethical and honest
- completion of 40 hour required course and pay the state fee for the Department of Agriculture application
- hold and maintain during the duration of the internship a valid drivers license and automobile insurance
- must sign a non-compete agreement and confidentiality agreement
- must submit to random drug testing
- availability for testimony during and after employment terminates
Aditional requirements
- hold an Associates or Bachelors degree
- clean background
- computer skills
- must comply with 2 year internship and protocols working 40 hours per week
- Hours: typically on site at 6 a.m. for surveillance, weekend and holidays required
- Dress: casual, comfortable attire, with extra clothing available
